What is it?


This course is designed to give you all the knowledge you need to perfect your race day nutrition plan. From the basics of sports nutrition to practical tasks which will guide you through the process of developing an effective fuelling strategy. Gain insight into cutting edge science and methods used by top level athletes. This interactive course will provide you with the tools to get your nutrition plan right. Whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned athlete the skills and knowledge delivered will be applicable to you.

The course will be delivered through two online webinars and a series of take away tasks.

Webinar 1 (Aug 17th)

Fundamentals of sports nutrition.

Webinar 2 (Sep 7th)

Interactive Q&A

Prior to this webinar you will be able to submit questions and problems for discussion.

Take home tasks (Completed between webinar 1 & 2)

During the take home tasks you will be guided through a process of assessing and defining your own needs. These tasks will allow you to assess and react to your own experiences, helping you to layout a strategy that is specific and appropriate to you. From here you will be able to put in place a number of training strategies to further prepare yourself for competition. This will include theory and practice which you will possess after the first webinar but you can access coaching advice at any time throughout the process.

What will I have at the end?

This course will not provide any formal certificate. What you will have are a number of skillsets which will allow you to make better informed decisions around your race fuelling strategy. You will be able to calculate exactly what you need for your event as well as being able to plan how to implement on race day. In addition you will gain insight into both high and low risk nutrition strategies helping you avoid race day disasters.

How are the sessions delivered?

Sessions are delivered via zoom on the above dates. They will be recorded and accessible for 48hrs post session.
